Studio Reference Guide

This reference guide applies to both DART Studio and MAX Studio. Features that require MAX Studio are designated like this: MAX Studio Required .

DART uses realistic 3D graphics and video to simulate a firing range, situation, or scenario that police officers or soldiers may experience. Drills and courses are developed in Studio and run in DART Range or MAX Range.

Studio is able to create virtually any type of drill or courses you can imagine. It uses a wide variety of object types including 3D people, objects, and environments as well as video and 2D images. In addition, Studio uses object behaviors that allow objects to change based on the actions of the trainee, input from the trainer, or events within the simulation.
