Timer Settings
Timers are user-defined stopwatches that can measure any important event. They are objects and can be dragged into the scene like other objects.
Timer objects are created with names Timer 01, 02, etc. They can be renamed using the Course Explorer. The display format is 00:00.00.
Timer objects do not cast or receive shadows and are self-illuminated. The brightness can be controlled with the timer color setting. Timer objects are similar to video targets in that they always face the camera.
Starting Time
Sets the starting time for the timer. If the starting time is 0, the timer will count up. If the starting time is greater than 0, the timer will count down.
Start Automatically
if set to Yes, the timer will start when the stage starts. If set to No, the timer must be activated by a behavior to start.
Color
Opens a color picker window used to set the color of the timer in the viewport. The color can be changed using the Change Time behavior.
Timer objects are unique in that they are self-illuminated objects and are not affected by stage lights or the time of day. This means that the color you select will be the color you see in bright and dark situations.
Show Name
When on, Show Name will display the timer name and clock. When off, only the clock will be displayed. The Timer’s name can be changed in the Course Explorer panel.
Audio
Used to load an audio file that will play on every second mark.
