Course Control
Course Control commands allow the instructor to control some aspects of a course such as the view and what stage is being run.
Branch to Stage
Courses can contain one or more stages. The Branch to Stage option allows the instructor to jump to any branch of a course.
Consider this example of a simple course with three stages. In Stage 1, a suspect is seen holding a gun. Depending on the actions of the trainee, the instructor may decide to branch to Stage 2 in which the suspect drops the gun, or Stage 3 in which the suspect aims the gun at the trainee and fires.
Clicking the Branch to Stage button opens a multi-select button with the number and name of the available stages as defined by the course. Once an option is selected, the course should immediately play the selected stage and proceed as normal. If the instructor selects the stage that is currently running, the course will immediately replay the current stage.
Viewpoint
Allows the trainer to override the viewpoint of the current stage.
If the stage uses behaviors that change the viewpoint, these will happen as planned.
